We are looking for talented Advocates to join our Advocacy department, which proudly boasts a combined 60+ years of litigation experience. The team advocates for our other departments on all of their cases and works alongside fee earners to achieve success for our clients.
This role will allow you to work with a successfully established and growing company with Solicitor owner-managers. You will be part of the Advocacy Department, which operates as a tight-knit team, working closely with a number of experienced barristers. This is an excellent opportunity to gain and develop first-hand advocacy skills.

You will be doing a wide number of tasks which include:
Hearings, including but not limited to interlocutory applications, case management hearings and infant approval hearings.
Drafting advices, pleadings and skeleton arguments.
You will be need to travel across England and Wales, which could require overnight stays.
Salary - £27,000 per annum.
Hours - Our standard working hours are 8:30 am to 5:30 am Monday -Thursday and 8:30 am to 5 pm Friday.

6 office days a month after passing probation.

The interview is conducted via MS Teams with the Head of the Advocacy Department, Nyssa Crorie, and a team member from Emerging Talent.
There is a pre-interview task sent out 48 hours prior to the interview, and you will be asked scenario-based questions alongside competency-based questions.
